Schedule of fees

Lopa Speech Pathology are providers of government funded disability support for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants who are plan-managed or self-managed. 

Fees are consistent with the current Price Guide for NDIS Service Providers.

Rebates are available through Medicare and Private Health Funds for privately-funded clients.

ASSESSMENT SESSION COSTS

$193.99 per 60-minute session.

For a comprehensive assessment report, please be aware that some reports will vary regarding the time taken to write them. Therefore, charges can vary. All report costs will be discussed with you.

Additional assessment sessions required will be charged at the standard hourly rate $193.99

THERAPY FEES

Our fees are outlined below. We can see NDIS participants who are plan, or self-managed.

Rebates are available through Medicare and Private Health Funds for privately-funded clients.

 

45 minutes - $145.49

60 minutes - $193.99

75 minutes - $242.48

Our standard consultation time is 60 minutes, which includes 45 minutes of face-to-face time and 15 minutes for record keeping. Session times will however be tailored to suit your needs. This pricing is effective from August 2022.

TRAVEL RATE

Lopa Speech Pathology is a mobile service. Services can be delivered at your child’s childcare centre, kindergarten, school, or home.

Travel costs are calculated from the Melrose Park office as part of the hourly rate. Travel fees are apportioned and shared between clients seen over the period of one day. Travel arrangements will be discussed and explained at your initial session.

TELEHEALTH

In response to COVID-19, the medicare benefits schedule (MBS) telehealth services initially introduced on a temporary basis will now be permanent. More information can be found here.

 

Participants may use their NDIS funds to access telehealth supports, including speech therapy sessions.

Please note that gap payments are aligned with our standard private fees.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In accordance with the NDIS guidelines, participants will be charged 100% of the cost of a full scheduled session where notice of cancellation is less than 2 business days. If the cancellation notice period is not provided, the â€‹â€‹â€‹full scheduled session costs (including cost associated with scheduled travel) will be charged. This policy includes Telehealth sessions, and care team meetings. Outstanding fees will need to be paid for future service bookings to be provided. 

 

If you need to cancel a session please get in touch with us either via SMS or email.

We really do understand that sometimes circumstances happen that are out of our control. We know that it is not always possible to give adequate notice. Cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion.
